Clayton Hoskinson, CCE, CFCE, CFE
Southwest Division Manager

International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners

Located in Norman, Oklahoma, Clayton Hoskinson serves as manager of TechnoSecure’s southwestern regional facility. In a criminal justice and computer forensics career that has spanned more than 2 decades he has developed a national reputation in the field of computer forensics. Before retiring from law enforcement Mr. Hoskinson served stints with the Norman Oklahoma Police Department and the Oklahoma State Inspector General’s Office. Mr. Hoskinson designed and taught one of the nations first associate degree programs in computer forensics. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Computer Forensic Examiner (CCE, CFCE). Mr. Hoskinson has served as a court adjudicated expert witness and has been appointed a Special Master in computer forensics by the Federal Courts. He is a member of The International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, The International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists, The High Technology Crime Investigation Association, The National Cybercrime Training Partnership, and various other professional organizations.


Karen Panighetti, CCE
Eastern Division Manager

Located at TechnoSecure’s corporate headquarters in Erie, Pennsylvania, Karen Panighetti serves as manager of TechnoSecure’s eastern regional facility. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and has over 20 years experience in various aspects of information systems technology. Ms. Panighetti has been a Certified Computer Forensic Examiner (CCE) since 2002. She is a member of The International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, InfraGard, The Information Systems Audit and Control Association, The Technology Council of Northwest Pennsylvania, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Computer Forensic Professionals. In addition, Ms. Panighetti has given a variety of presentations in the local region on topics pertaining to cybercrime, computer forensics and electronic discovery.


Gordon Pelton, CCE
Senior Associate

Mr. Gordon Pelton is a senior associate servicing northern California and Nevada. He has a master’s degree in Engineering from Stanford University in Computer Systems Analysis and Design and a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Mathematics. For the past fourteen years he has served as an expert witness in computer litigation. Mr. Pelton is experienced in both deposition and trial testimony. He knows the ins-and-outs of both computer hardware and computer software. Mr. Pelton is familiar with the architecture, programming and operation not only of computer disks and other digital media but also of computer hardware components. Prior to entering the field of computer forensics, he spent several decades as a computer systems designer, analyst and programmer. He has years of experience working with computer operating systems and application programs.

Mr. Pelton is a Certified Computer Examiner (CCE). He is a member of the High Tech Crime Investigation Association, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners. He is also a published author and a noted lecturer.


Eric Pelton, CCE

Mr. Eric Pelton is a senior associate serving northern California and Nevada. He earned an MS degree in Computer Science from Purdue University in 1989 and a BA degree in Computer Science from the University of California in 1987. Mr. Pelton has over 17 years of computer experience serving as an engineer, consultant and manager. From 1989 through 1993, he worked as a software engineer at IBM. In 1993, Mr. Pelton joined Identix Incorporated to build biometric products for the Law Enforcement community. In the years from 1993 through 2006, he has served as Lead Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, Software Development Manager, and Computer Consultant for Identix Inc. Mr. Pelton has worked closely with many of Identix customers and partners, including the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, California Department of Justice, Los Angeles Sheriffs Department, New York Police Department and many other Law Enforcement Agencies. Mr. Pelton is a Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) and a member of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE).
